THOMAS IS COMING TO TUNBRIDGE WELLS FOR ONE LAST TIME! 29th & 30th September and 6th & 7th October! Our Day out with Thomas™ event which is being held on the 29th & 30th September and 6th & 7th October are likely to be your last ever opportunity to see Thomas the Tank Engine™ and his friends at the Spa Valley Railway. FIRST THREE TRAINS EACH DAY THIS WEEKEND ARE NEARLY SOLD OUT! The owners of the Day out with Thomas brand have decided not to renew our event license at the end of the current term. We have been told that this is not a reflection of the successful events that we run, but a change in their business direction. So don't miss out, please come and support us one last time and help make this last Day out with Thomas the best ever! • Experience a ride behind a real steam engine • Shake hands with The Fat Controller • Take part in Thomas themed activities in the Imagination Station • Meet Rusty & Dusty! Make their day a Day Out With Thomas - book your ticket now to secure a place! Thomas will spend most of the day at his Ffarquhar Station to ensure he can meet everyone, but his Steam and Diesel friends will take it in turns to pull the special trains from/to Tunbridge Wells West station. Attractions at Tunbridge Wells West include the Imagination Station, Face Painting/Temporary Tattoos, Thomas films and vintage penny machines. There is also a gift shop with a wide selection of Thomas goodies. Board your booked train at Tunbridge Wells West for a ride along the branch line behind a friend of Thomas to meet Thomas at Ffarquhar station. At Ffarquhar meet Thomas, Daisy, the Fat Controller, and our station cleaners Rusty & Dusty. Join in with a story re-enactment, take a ride on Thomas’s train, watch the Rusty & Dusty show, and shake hands with the Fat Controller. The attractions at Tunbridge Wells West are open between 10:15 & 16:00, and can be visited at any time during your visit. Tickets are valid on your booked train that depart Tunbridge Wells West at 10:15, 11:30, 12:40, 14:00 & 15:10. Note, if you are travelling on the last two trains of each day please visit the attractions at Tunbridge Wells West BEFORE your train ride as they will be closed on your return. All tickets booked in advance include a reserved seat on the train of your choice. Any tickets remaining will be sold on the day, but please be aware that the most popular trains often sell out in advance.
